| Excerpt from Public Health and Service Drinking Water Standards 1962: "Whereas the U.S. Public Health Service 1946 Drinking Water Standards set a limit of 0.3 mg/1 for iron and manganese combined, it is recommended that a limit be established for each and that the concentration of iron be limited to 0.3 mg/1." |
