To Anyone In Need Of Water Treatment
We recently purchased a new Kinetico water softener through Lakes Area Water, and wanted to let everyone know how pleased we were with the entire experience.

When we made the decision to purchase a lake home last July, we began researching water treatment. In speaking with other Kinetico customers and in researching their products, we decided that a Kinetico unit was the best one out there. While viewing other homes for sale, we noticed Kinetico was the water treatment of choice in many other homes, as well. Prior to closing on the house, we made an appointment with Tim OKeefe at Lakes Area Water to meet us on the property, test our water, and get his recommendation on which unit would be the most appropriate to treat our water problems.

Tim was great to work with. We can’t say enough about his professionalism and product knowledge. He was able to accommodate a last minute appointment change to meet our needs, arrived on time, completed the water testing, and zeroed in on the right Kinetico unit. Tim also solved our water odor problem by having his installer adapt a part on our water heater free of charge. We liked the rent with option- to-purchase terms and, because we were extremely pleased with its performance, decided to purchase our unit 6 months later.

Installation was a breeze. Tim made sure the new unit was installed immediately after the rental unit was removed, so we wouldn’t be without treated water. We appreciated this extra effort, because their installer was very busy at the time, and had to work us in at the last minute. Roger, the installer, was great and completed the installation in a timely, professional manner. He explained how to change the pre-filter prior to his departure and was on his way.

From Tim and Roger, to the friendly office staff, we were very pleased with Lakes Area Water and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone for their water treatment needs. They have both the experience and know-how to solve any of your water problems. Lakes Area Water Kinetico is simply the best!

East Gull Lake Water Nightmare Ended
Kinetico has ended our extremely bad water (tannins and iron), yellowish brown toilet tanks, toilet bowls, and bath tub & shower water. After 23 years of having several different water softener companies we took the Kinetico plunge.
The water is now fantastic. Previously weekly salt usage ranged from 20 to 30 lbs. per week. Now it is only 8 to 10 lbs. per week.

Jamie and Roger did a great job on the removal of the old system and hook-up of the new Kinetico. Spending approximately $5,000 was a very tough decision but now that we are enjoying 365 days a year of pure, clear, no smell water I know we made the right decision.

I talked to Jayme today and told him I would send you a little note about our thoughts about Kinetico.

We have used Kinetico water systems for more than 23 years.  At this time, we have an arsenic purifying system, softener system, R.O. system and filter system in our home from Kinetico.  When we moved to this house, we found that we had arsenic in the water.  And thanks to the expertise of our Lakes Area Water personnel, we now have clean arsenic free water and know that we have safe water to drink and for household use.
